Cardinal Choir and Volleyball at Stanford University

The Cardinal Choir and girls volleyball team represented Canyon Heights Academy at Maples Pavilion on the Stanford University campus. On October 21, the Cardinal Choir performed the National Anthem to a packed house prior to the Stanford – Washington State women’s volleyball game. The CHA girls volleyball team was invited to stand with the Stanford players during the performance.

The choir program at CHA has been growing each year, and now the choir has 42 choristers. The sound from the larger choir filled Maples Pavilion and was truly impressive for a group of such young students.

After the singing of the National Anthem, girls volleyball team captain Mikaela Bruno was invited to sit at the scorer’s table. She held the mic and announced “Point Stanford!” each time Stanford scored the point.

Stanford won the game so congratulations to everyone for a great day!
