The CubeSat Program: A nation-leading middle school initiative where students partner with aerospace engineering professors to design, build, and test real satellite systems—an exciting opportunity for students.
Robotics & Engineering: Hands-on collaboration using systems like LEGO® Spike Prime to grasp basic programming, motor logic, and mechanical design, popular among students.
Applied Coding: After-school modules that introduce students to logic and fundamentals through Python game design, Minecraft Education, and arcade development, fostering critical skills for students.
Silicon Valley Partnerships: Opportunities to engage with leading local organizations such as NASA and Stanford Athletics, connecting students to real-world STEM applications.
Athletics

Our athletics programs emphasize strong character, teamwork, and good sportsmanship, ensuring every student grows both on and off the field. Fine Arts

At Canyon Heights, students are empowered to become compassionate leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility, while families benefit from programs that cultivate faith, service, and confidence.
Through participation in the Student Leadership Council (SLC), Service Campaign Team, Media Team, and Mentoring Team, students have numerous opportunities to grow in Christ, develop their God-given strengths, and positively impact our school and local community. Public speaking is a cornerstone of leadership formation, with students starting in preschool receiving over 60 opportunities to speak before audiences by the time they graduate eighth grade.

Extracurricular Activities

As a private school in Silicon Valley, we use technology not just as a tool, but as a platform for creativity and problem-solving.
Our middle school CubeSat program exemplifies this approach, allowing students to apply math, physics, coding, and engineering principles to design, build, and test real satellite systems. Partnering with aerospace engineering professors and volunteer parents, students launch satellites they’ve created, developing disciplined problem-solving, data analysis, iterative design, and confidence engaging with peers and experts alike.

Extended Care
Canyon Heights offers before-school care starting at 7:30 a.m. and extended daycare until 6:00 p.m. Detailed information and arrangements for enrollment can be obtained from the front office.
